She should know. She grew up in a real estate family. Initially her desire to serve others made her think of nursing, and she did love it, until physical challenges made it impossible for her to continue standing 10-12 hours a day. When it became obvious she needed to make a change, she knew she wanted to go into a field where she could have the same kind of positive impact on people’s lives. She realized, through a career in real estate, her contribution would be every bit as important as what she’d been doing in the Operating Room (OR).
What she’d loved about being an OR nurse, she carried over to real estate. Her knowledge, training and experience groomed her to provide a critical service to her patients. A real estate transaction requires the same level of expertise. She must work with a wide variety of people and tools for her buyers and sellers to realize their goals.
There’s one important difference. In real estate, she wants her clients to participate, something not required of her patients. Lisa has done her part. She pursued her real estate license with the same perseverance and enthusiasm she took into nursing. She joined a real estate company that not only provides all the tools she needs, but one which continually strives for excellence in her and in the company. Lisa loves to work with both buyers and sellers. She enjoys the challenges and rewards associated with both sides of a transaction. She is especially devoted to military families and she worked with a lot of them in the Corpus Christi area, where she began her real estate career.
Lisa has spent most of her life in Texas and a good portion of that in the DFW Metroplex. She understands the value of family. In fact, it was a family need which caused her to leave the Corpus Christi area and come back to Dallas. While helping others is her favorite thing, in her family, in her job and in her life, when it comes time for a break, she loves to travel. She also invests deeply in her church and her community.
